Micah Williams Appointed Ranger Team Leader
Ngullingah Jugun Aboriginal Corporation (NJAC) has proudly announced the appointment of Micah Williams as Ranger Team Leader, marking a significant step in the corporation's efforts to further protect and manage Country. Micah Williams, a Western Bundjalung-Githabul man based in Kyogle, brings with him a wealth of experience and dedication to preserving Aboriginal land and culture.
Before joining NJAC, Williams had a long and distinguished career with the NSW National Parks and Wildlife Service (NPWS) in the Northern Rivers region, where he made substantial contributions to the protection of natural landscapes and Indigenous heritage. His deep connection to the land, combined with his extensive knowledge in environmental management, has earned him a well-deserved reputation in the field.
Williams’ appointment is seen as a valuable asset to the NJAC, which continues to play a crucial role in promoting Aboriginal-led conservation and cultural projects.
